A very, very, very short yet expensive trip to Leeds..
|
|
It costed me GBP50.80 (day-return ticket) to Leeds.. I just spent almost 2 hours in Leeds; walked around the city centre in rain, bank-in some money in Lloyds and short walk in Leeds University.. So much for value for money!!

A trip to London.. *again!!*
|
|
This trip was more like guiding a friend around London. (despite of being a 'London'er myself, I guess I'm pretty good in navigating around the city..). Living just 30-mins away from London, made me less enthusiastic on taking pictures... *my favourite quote of the day : dah bosan!!*

This was another 'Saturday' trip with Kak Teh, Abg Teh, Hani and Saiful. We went to Castle Combe; the prettiest village in England, 500years of age, and was set up in 1140 A.D. (I hope I got this fact right!) Then, when we had enough of photos to bring home, we continued our journey to Bath, another historical landmark in England.
Our first stop was University of Bath (which we found by accident, Abg Teh took a wrong turn..), but luckily we bumped into another group of Malaysians, and 1 of them happens to be a student in Bath. So, he lead the way to Beckford's Tower and finally the Park & Ride area. From there, we took a bus to town centre and walked around Bath for the rest of the day. We had our lunch on the green lawn in front of Royal Crescent (mkn nasik lemak lg!! Thanks Kak Teh..), then ice cream for dessert. As usual, taking tonnes of photos is a must. Met few Malaysians around Bath, and by 6.30pm, we started our journey back to Reading... As the sun set, and the sky was getting darker, I felt tired, happy, and charmed by the beauty of Allah's creation; the human mind...

*NazeuQ, remember this, just be yourself.. if change what you seek, then I hope it will be for Allah.. the right person for you is the one who can accept you just the way you are... (same goes to yours truly).. Miss you pal!!*

To my beloved and missed Mak..
|
|
I was always the strong daughter and 'Kaklong' to my family.. but tonight I just can't help myself from crying; how I miss my mom so much.. Well, the truth is I never really express my love to my mom verbally.. but as I get older, I somehow easily get in touch with my feelings. Perhaps, the distance, despair, depression and loneliness has somehow taught me the value of attention, love and care, especially from your loved one; family. So, here I am, still crying... it got even worse as I listened to Aishah's tune of 'Syurga di Telapak Kaki Ibu'. (I'm such a cry-baby... lately..) Mak, sorry for everything; every word, action and gesture that unintentionally hurt your feelings. Thanks for the love, care, attention, time, patience, prayers...... (the list is never ending..) Love you Mak..
| Quote: | Duhai apakah gerangan budi balasan
Bagi insan melahirkan, membesarkan
Bercucuran airmata bila mengenangkan
Betapakah besar budi ibunda berikan
Siang malam menderita
Hingga entah bila
Sungguh besar pengorbanan
Ibunda berikan
Tiada bahagia jika tiada
Doa puja restu
Syurga itu telapak kaki ibu |
