Another SK's wedding reception attended, yet again as a guest, (who also involved with the preparation..) another good friend of mine, Haswani Che Wook @ Waniey
Despite of the 12-hour journey from KL to Pasir Mas and the rather enduring seats of 2nd class KTM train, I personally enjoyed the trip and of course the whole wedding ceremony.
Plus, finally got the chance to meet 'someone' in person.. 
to wani & jep, semoga kekal abadi hingga akhir hayat.. AMIN..

Taman KLCC *the weekend getaway??*

Despite of the title of this entry, by the end of the day, we were happy and content.. plus stuffed with food! The location was Taman KLCC and the occasion was supposed to be a family picnic, but we added 'shopping' to the list. Well, with Suria KLCC just few minutes away, who's able to resist?

Eid Celebration @ Pontian, Johor *the Grandparent's Crib*

It was that special month again.. Ramadhan, it is the time when the evil beings are chained and restrained for Muslims all over the world peacefully performed the 3rd commendment; fasting, not just physically but most importantly, the spiritual aspects which is the discreet relation of a man to his Creator, Allah SWT. Then, it is time for celebration; as a tribute to the achievement of being able (Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah) to experience once again the glorious days of Ramadhan. As for me and my family, it was the usuals, only this time Abang can't join us for Eid (miss you bro!!). The destination; Pontian, to my grandparents' for a 3days-4nights stay. Although, only Pak Long's family, Pak Teh's family (that's my dad!) and Pak Joy (who apparently is still single at the age of 40..) were present, Eid was still quite a celebration with 'ketupat', 'rendang' and 'kuah kacang'. Can't wait for Ramadhan to come again, Insya-Allah soon..

The last time I came here it was with Hani's family and it was spring time. But this time around, it was almost the end of a fantastic summer (Alhamdulillah..) and with a different crowd, Kak Shahnil, Kak Dahlia and hyper-superhappy-adorable Mariah. We had a small picnic with Fried Macaroni and Roast Chicken (courtesy from an anonymous Pakistan fast food outlet). It was great, fun and full with colours!!

A Visit to my Grandparents Crib (what the heck..) Balik Kampung!

I've always enjoy the trips to my grandparents' house back in Pontian, Johor. Peaceful atmosphere, laughter and endless talks with my grandparents, great food cooked by my MakLong and my Mom, and of course juicy and tasty tropical fruits.. Rambutan and Durian, the king of all fruits, they say.. I took the liberty to take some shots of the fruits just to introduce them to my international friends back in Reading. So guys, enjoy the pics!! *Sorry for the poor quality of some pictures.. still learning!!
